The Winner is Black....

Let me be the first to say that black is not my default color. I love color!!! I love pink(of course), turquoise, kelly green and the list could go on and on for days. Blame it on my Mother who put me in bright colors for most of my childhood, or blame it on my southern roots and our love for all things bright.

In November, my friend Kari, had an engagement party and requested that everyone wear black. This sent me into a tail spin of shopping and noticing that black is not my default color! So for most of November and December I bought black everything. One of the outfits that stands out in my mind,  was from my trip to Miami this month. It was a black blazer that I found at Lane Bryant for $35.00, a sequin skirt from Evans, and my favorite black BEBE pumps. It was a comfortable outfit, and I felt fabulous in it!!! I was hesitant about the blazer when I first purchased but it has fast become on my favorite wardrobe staples. I now realize that I must  keep more black staples in my closet at all times!!!

Fat Fab Find of The Week

Every now and again I will run up on what I consider a Fat Fab Find and I want to share it with everyone!!! The First One.... And Boy Am I Nervous

Greetings World!!!  My name is Jeniese, and this is my attempt at fashion blogging. Blogging isn't easy, and maybe that is why I have only blogged about life, and not my first love FASHION!!! So I'm throwing my hat in the ring! (I welcome lots of advice from any of you experienced bloggers out there!)

Here are a few things to know about me. I am 30, I love the color pink, and I never met a mall that I didn't love. This year I fell in love with the fatshionista's that Blog, Tweet, and Facebook their asses off everyday!!! From Gabi, to Xtina, to Jai to J to Bella Fierce to Marie Denee to Gemini Mag I have relearned in amazement the fashion game. Each and every one of them has given me hope to reclaim a dream that I had long deemed unable to attain. For that I thank them.

I am not just going to talk about plus size fashion, even though make no mistakes I am a fatshionista. But I am going to discuss and show pictures of everything I love, and I love lots. I will post my favorite outfits, strangers favorite outfits, and the occasional editorial. I am not technologically savvy so my page may be plain for a while, bear with me!
