Damn You Alexis!!!

I apologize again for my lack of post. I have been struggling deeply with my diabetes for the past two months and everyday life was hard! I have been working with my doctors and myself to feel better (but I am thinking about posting on that later). But I am coming around the bend and starting to feel better.

Earlier this year I won the most amazing giveway from The Curvy Fashionista, Marie Denee, during her 2nd Bloggerversary! I was lucky enough to win a piece of clothing from  Australian Collection Damn You Alexis!  The collection was created by Megan Moir Pardy, and her designs are amazing! For weeks I struggled with what I was going to get, I couldn't decide weather I should be totally practical or totally impractical. After much deliberation and driving the people around me crazy I finally through practicality to the wind and I choose the Space Skirt! It sooo cute, well fitted and the material is amazing. Pardy's designs are both whimsical and well crafted. I also must stop and mention the packaging. The skirt came in super cute messenger bag that has the Damn You Alexis logo on the front! I am a sucker for creative packaging!

I paired it with a black collarless blazer, a white tank and a pair of silver Jessica Simpson shoes. I will continue to add more Damn You Alexis's pieces to my collection.
