Before I started blogging… okay scratch that, before I got introduced the wonderful world of fashion blogs I thought that I was the only person who wanted more out of the fashion industry than what was offered to me. I always wanted to look good, no matter what! I have never taken no for an answer as far as my style has been concerned, and I never will.

Often the world of fashion is daunting, it’s hard to figure out what to order, where to order from, and even how to order. Even in this day and age I am always surprised to hear someone say I have no idea how to shop online. But alas, there are more and more resources to help you in your journey!

A few weeks ago the incredibly lovely Marie Dene released a new eBook, Keeping It Curvy, Confident, and Chic. Her eBook answers age old questions that many plus size fashionistas have. Where do I find the clothes I want?  How can I be sure about how to order online? What brands should I trust?  Marie digs into topics such as jean fit, underwear, and most importantly confidence!!!

Pleather Principle

Morning All... Last night I went out for my Cousin's 30th birthday, and I got to wear a few of my new favorite pieces, that I have picked up this season. At the top of my wants list (and most other curvy girls)for the past few years, has been quality leather/pleather pieces, especially shorts. Thankfully this season a few retailers have listened to us   and produced a quality pair that are super cute. Thanks to Torrid for these great shorts! I paired it with a leopard print blouse and Sam Edleman Lorissa's shoes. I love shorts, you can do so many things with them throughout the seasons. How do you feel about shorts?

Orange Crush





It's starting to get cooler here... Yes I know it's November, but hey I live in the south. I am pushing myself to step out the box with my work clothes, brighter colors, different bottoms, and fun shoes. Today I wore a mix of pieces from my closet all brought together by a pretty new pair of shoes. I loved the way the orange looked, it reminded me of the changing colors of the leaves. How is everyone's fall going?
