Sunglasses-Target, Clutch-Ann Taylor Loft (old), Dress -Asos Curve, Rings-H&M |
Often a great look can start with a simple accessory. Shoes,
jewelry, belts and handbags can be excellence sources of inspiration for
building the perfect look. This look started with this amazing striped box clutch
that I found at Loft earlier this summer. I loved this clutch and I knew that
it was a perfect addition to my closet. The color pallet is perfect for almost
everything that I wear and it’s striped to boot! I have expressed more than once that I am
terrible at accessorizing. It is the one area of my wardrobe that I don’t pay
enough attention but I am working on getting better.
I paired this clutch with this super cute drop waist dress
from Asos Curve and neon green 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target sandals. I found items in each shade of the clutch to coordinate the entire look. On a
sidenote, I know lots of plus size women are afraid to wear drop waist dresses but
you shouldn’t be! They are super comfortable and if you buy the proper fit the
look will most definitely work for you. Don't believe me check out how bloggers Allison, Gabi and Kellie B. wore theirs! I loved it! I was very satisfied with how this look turned out. I have a few ways that I think I will wear these pieces again so you will most likely see them again.
Is there anything you feel you’re bad at when it comes to
getting dressed? Maybe we can help each other through it!

I love it!! Between my height and my huge butt I always think drop waist dresses will look a mess on me but u make it look so GOOD! I'm horrible at styling circle skirts and midi skirts on my frame.
ReplyDeleteI think you style the dress very well. I only have one drop waist dress and I think it would have looked better on me if it was a little loose.
