I don’t wear a ton of body-con
clothing. It’s not that I don’t like them it’s just that I have a hard time
finding pieces that I am comfortable with. See the way my stomach is set up
(lololol) it doesn’t always look the best on me. I am strong believer in
wearing things that work for you and make you feel beautiful! I don’t subscribe
to the rules that a lot of people set on themselves as far as clothing goes, but
I do know what works for me and what doesn’t work for me.
I fell in love with this
dress from Fashion to Figure and but I was really nervous to try it. Instantly I was drawn to the subtle cut out
detail, the longer length and the long sleeve of this dress. As I ordered the
dress, I realized my biggest hang up was I didn’t want to be disappointed if I
couldn’t wear the dress. To my extreme surprise, the dress was extremely stretchy
and it fit perfectly! I threw on a pair of Spanxs to smooth me out even
further! Wearing this dress was the encouragement I need to keep trying more
body-con pieces.

body-con? How does it fit into your wardrobe?

LOL! The way your stomach is set up... You are silly! You look fabulous as always! I love bodycon, particularly skirts. I like to wear them to work with a peplum top/blazer or during date nights. I don't wear them as much as I used to because I'm more of a fit and flare girl, but I have a few in my closet.

DeleteI love bodycons but I've gained some weight in my stomach post marriage so I'm not as comfortable as I used to be wearing them. I rock them from time to time but until I get this midsection back to where it needs to be they will be worn sparingly. Boohoo's bodycons work very well for me right now but the ones made from thin clingy material are a absolute no for me. I LOVE this one on you it works very well with your figure and it fits you great imo. I would be totally chicken to rock this but you DID THAT!
ReplyDeleteV... I was so sad when the Boohoo dress didn't fit me, but I just had to make it work for me. But I was so excited when this one fit. I have gained so much weight in my tummy that I have a tendency to stay away from anything that pulls to tight, but I am trying a few new things.
