It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go! The holiday season is in full swing and like many people my biggest issue is what am I going to wear too all of the different functions I have to attend. This year I am participating in a A Curvy Holiday Series with several other bloggers to help our readers with a few ideas on what to wear during the season. The first edition of this series is what to wear for your Office Holiday Party.
Office Holiday parties can have various themes, locations
and times but I always try to stick to the same rules when it comes to getting
dressed. Here are a few:
- Remember even if your party is not at work you will still be in a work environment. Don’t wear anything that you do not want your co-workers to see you wearing. (i.e. anything to tight, revealing, short or inappropriate for the office).
- It’s okay to take it up a notch for an evening or dressier event.
- Make sure your ugly Christmas sweater isn’t someone else's real sweater (yep that did happen to my friend).
In my office we have a Holiday luncheon which is during our
day hours. For this year I am wearing my Talbot’s holiday sweater with my
favorite red midi-skirt from Eloquii. I thought the look
was a great pairing of my everyday clothing and my holiday favorites! This time
of the year is such a great time to step out of the box and be cute kitchy with
our wardrobes.

ReplyDeleteCarla I got my shoes at Target. But check with Nine West, Long Tall Sally and Zappos to look for a pair for a size 12.
