Not going to lie… being faced with a $30 clothing challenge,
for the #30PlusStyle challenge was really hard for me. I am not a very thrifty person,
at all. I do like a good sale, I take advantages of coupon codes, and I try to
get the best bang for my buck. The task seemed impossible, but I managed to
pull it off. I got the dress from Old Navy for a whopping $10!!! I found this
handbag on super clearance at a yard sale in my neighborhood for $15.00(can you
believe it’s a Lilly Pulitzer bag?!?!?) and these bangles were on clearance last
year at Ashley Stewart for $4.00.
My girlfriends had total faith that I could pull off this challenge
and pointed out that a lot of these items I had in my closet and that I was
more spend thrift than I thought. What about y’all? Would a $30 challenge have
been a problem for you?
