Pants -Eloquii(similar), Shirt-Old Navy(Similar), Shoes-DSW
I can’t keep up with the ever changing mood of this transitional weather. One minute it’s cold and the next it’s hot. Last week it was in the 40’s this week it’s pushing 80. It makes it really hard to get dressed. So for most of my days I have been settling on a great pair of pants and a lightweight shirt.
When I laid eyes on these pants from Eloquii I knew I had to have them, and I think all of you did too because they are totally sold out. When it was colder out I paired them with my favorite sweater and sneakers. But know that it’s a little warmer I love it with this silky, button down utility blouse.
I know several people are afraid of scuba material, but don’t be! The material is plus friendly. It has a great stretch without sacrificing structure. Scuba is also extremely comfortable and that's a plus in any situation.
What’s getting you guys through this transitional season? Or has the weather settled where you are? If so know that I am extremely jealous!

It’s time for another edition of 30plusstyle! This time
around we are talking about the little black dress! Everyone women needs a
little black dress it’s a plain and simple fact. The little black dress is a closet staple
that is good for any situation. If I can be honest most women probably need
three little black dresses one for play, one for work and one for formal
occasions. As time has gone on the
little black dress has evolved, it has taken different shapes, forms and
styles.
The little black jumpsuit has become synonymous with the
little black dress in my closet. Though I find the lbd necessary, I now feel
like the jumpsuit offers a fresh take on the closet staple. This jumpsuit
easily transitions from occasion to occasion just like the lbd. It was especially perfect for the holiday celebration I went to that evening!
Well y’all I am sad to say this is our last 30 Plus Style.
Last year we started on this journey to let you know that style not only has no
size it also has no age! I’ve learned so much and made some amazing friends
through this style journey! We hope you will continue to use your #30PlusStyle
hashtag to show us what you got! This week we have two guest bloggers joining
us Cynthia from Fight of the Fat Girl and Jennae from Green and Gorgeous!
Please continue to follow and read my other 30plusstyle bloggers post! These ladies
are truly amazing:

Skirt-c/o Eloquii, Sweater-Talbots,Shirt&Vest -Old Navy(Old), Shoes-Shoedazzle(sold out, available in wine) |

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is getting
together with friends. I love having long dinners, more cocktails than normal
and looking at everyone’s festive fashions. But even I will admit it’s hard to
come up with great looks to wear constantly throughout the holiday season. I have joined to together with a few of my
bloggers boos and our favorite brand Eloquii, to show how we get dressed to go
to a few different occasions. We selected one of two skirts from Eloquii to
style for a certain holiday occasion. My occasion was dinner at my best friend’s
house!
Under normal circumstances if I was going to my BFF’s house
to hang out I would be extremely comfortable and not put in much effort, but
during the holidays you never know who might pop up. Taking it up a notch is in
order. For this look I stepped out of the box and went for a grungier look. I
loved this boots that I picked up from ShoeDazzle! They
are not at all my norm, but I have been trying again to further push myself out
of my comfort zone. I thought this look was great for hanging out with friends.
What are your go to pieces for the Holiday?
Go check out the other looks from my blogger boos:

Coat-c/o Eloquii, skirt-Talbots(similar), Boots-Forever21(old), Sunnies- Target |
Every winter I look for new and intriguing outerwear to
fulfill my coat fantasies. Honestly since it doesn’t get that cold here so I
end up purchasing coats more for sport than for functionality. On those rare
days when it is cold enough I don’t waste one second pulling out one of my
beloved coats
When Eloquii dropped this plaid coat if literally fulfilled
every outerwear need I had for the season (ha doesn’t my wallet wish that was
true). I loved the plaid and the utilitarian feel of the coat. The shape and
shape and design were very different from my other coats. More importantly the extreme happiness I felt
inside when I opened the coat let me know my decision was spot on.
Outfit thoughts: Y’all
know I sometimes love an overabundance of print so I jumped right into the deep
end and paired my jacket with a red plaid skirt in my closet. Initially I was
overwhelmed by the mix of plaids but I realized that I liked to slight contrast
and blend of the look. To anchor the look I went with a simple black turtleneck
and boots.
So how do you feel about outwear? Do you love it or do you
purely view it as a functional piece of clothing?

Turtleneck-Old(Similar), Skirt-Eloquii, Booties-Old(Similar and Similar), Sunnies-Target |
I love the sporty look that has blown up all over the place,
but let me be honest I am not very sporty. I have always been the type to
rather be immersed in pink and ruffles than in track pants. My mother often
talks about how she had the hardest time convincing me that pants were
practical for elementary school, sorry Mom. When I saw this look at Eloquii I thought
it would be the perfect piece to attempt my hand at being sporty. A perfect mix of femininity and sport I loved
the geometric design and the split in the front. I quickly snatched this up on
sale!
What do y’all think about the sporty trend?

Blazer-Eloquii/old-Similar, Jeans-NYDJ, Shoes-GoJane/old-(Similar), Crop Top-Eloquii/sold out-(Similar)(Similar) |
I have to admit that I have been too scared to try and wear a
crop top with pants, but I gave it a go the other night when I was heading to
dinner! I often gauge my comfort level with an outfit by wearing it out in
public. If I fidget around with it I know I am uncomfortable, if I forget what
I am wearing then it’s a keeper! This might be a tad alarming to some, but I am
reminded that it’s just clothes what’s the worst that can happen. It ended up that
I totally forgot what I was wearing and felt extremely comfortable in it. I thought this was a fun look for an evening
out when I too be chic, but comfortable at the same time.
What do y’all wear for comfortable, but chic looks?
