Curvy Women in Pantone Spring Colors

I am beyond excited to be participating in a style collaboration with 5 of my favorite bloggers who are over 30! We have been given three fashion challenges to participate in for the over the next few months.  Each challenge is completely different and inspiring, especially since I have given up shopping for the next 47 days. 

This month’s challenge was to style a look around any color in the spring 2014 Pantone color chart. If you’ve been reading my blog it’s no secret how much I love color! In a sea of all black I find it extremely refreshing to wear bold bright colors. Spring’s Pantone colors bring about a warm palate of blues, pinks oranges and yellows.  Not being one to be limited to just one color I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to wear as many of the colors on the Pantone list in one look. I love this Youtheary Khmer dress that purchased last summer and I fully admit to not wearing it enough. This time around I added an extra punch of color by wearing “dazzling blue” belt and shoes.  As we emerge from the harshness of winter I embraced the warm Birmingham weather this weekend. Spring/Summer are my favorite seasons so I welcome the emergence of all that comes with it!
