A Guide To A Stylish Plus Size Life

Outfit 1: Dress

Outfit 2: Sweater | Pants | Mask

If you follow me on Instagram (which I hope you do), I am still in denial that Fall is upon us. I’m holding on to Summer this year with everything I have. But nothing can turn my mood more than fall fashion, especially new fall fashion! Today I’m excited to partner with Walmart to bring you their last collection Eloquii Elements, that is full of fabulous fall pieces.

Let me give you the details, Eloquii Elements is a new plus-sized fashion line, that Walmart has created in partnership with Eloquii. The collection is kicking off with 27 pieces in a size range 14-28. The collection will be available on Walmart.com and at Eloquii. The designs were created by the Eloquii design team, who are experts in plus size design and fit with an affordable price point.

I was able to try several pieces from the collection and let me tell you, it absolutely does not disappoint. I loved everything I tried on. My fit was true to size. I am between a 20 and 22, so I went with the 22 in the pieces.  I could have sized down in a few items, including this striped dress. The quality was amazing and I’m excited to incorporate these affordable pieces into my collection. Did I mention that most of this collection is under $35?  Each piece is so versatile and works well for a multitude of occasions.

Since I’m working from home currently, I’ve been spending a lot less on everything, but I have been looking for a few pieces I can add to my closet that are great for running into the office or so I can be Zoom meeting ready. This collection from Walmart fits the bill. Ohhhh and one of the best parts was the mask that match a few of the items. The mask and pant match made me so very happy.

It’s always great that more plus-size options are popping up. It’s even better to find a high quality, low cost option such as this Eloquii Elements collection! What do you think about these looks? Will you check out the collection?

Which look is your favorite look?

Outfit: Shirt | Skirt | Earrings

Let’s be honest 2020 is weird and challenging to say the least. How we live, celebrate and work has all changed over the past few months. It’s only fair to say that how get dressed has changed. A huge piece of me misses the everyday action of getting dressed, the special occasions putting together my summer vacay looks. I started to notice that when I did get dressed, I felt better, more in control, and optimistic.

Today I’ve partnered with Lane Bryant to share one of my favorite summer looks with you. Since our temperatures have reached a fever pitch, I still like to keep it simple and cool with my looks. This eyelet offthe shoulder top is perfect for pairing with skirt, jeans and shorts. I paired it with this light and airy chambray skirt. I absolutely loved these palm printearrings they made me feel like I was on the beach   (I wish). A perfect summer look that made me feel so happy.

I hope everyone is staying safe and sane! Is getting dressed bringing you any joy?

Summer is upon us and even though I’ve staying in the house for the past few months my summer wardrobe has been on my mind. It gets hotter than the fourth level of hell here, so I typically stick to looks that are easy to wear and cool to put on. Dresses and jumpsuits are my go too during this time period and this jersey jumpsuit from Catharines is as easy as it comes.

Adding heels or sneakers could switch up the vibe of the jumpsuit making it perfect for a night out for drinks or a fun summer picnic. I got a 2x, but I probably could have done a 1x due to the stretchy nature of the jersey material.

Are you getting dressed yet? Are you thinking about what to wear for summer? Or are you still inside in comfortable clothes?

I hope everyone is doing well.

Bra | Panty | Robe

If you’re not new to my blog then you know that comfort is key to my looks. If it’s uncomfortable then I absolutely will not wear it. That extends to my undies. I take a lot of pride in finding comfortable, well fitting underwear that provides a great start to my looks. When Cacique reached out to me to try their new So Light T-shirt Bra I was eager to try the updated version of one of my favorite bras.

The updated So Light bra has a light-as-a-feather feel that has the same great shape and support that I’m used too. This bra is perfect for wearing your favorite top, it basically disappears under your shirt.  I love how comfortable and functional this bra is. I spent most of my Sunday lounging around in this while deciding what to wear. It was so deliciously soft and light that I didn't feel like I had a thing on.

Have you tried this fit yet? Do you have a special bra that you wear under your t-shirts and knitwear?
