Winter is upon us and I am so happy that it's actually cold in Birmingham. I thoroughly enjoy getting dressed for what I call sweater weather! This week, I'm partnering with Walmart to share a few of my current favorite cozy items perfect for this season!
I will never get tired of animal print sweaters, no matter how many I own. They always add a certain something to the look. This red animal print tunic sweater from Walmart's Scoop collection is perfect for not only this holiday season, but winter in general. This sweater feels so lux and vibrant for these upcoming cold days. For a little fun I paired this with black leggings and my over the knee boots.
Have you shopped around Walmart lately? They have so many great deals going on, especially if you need a last minute gift for someone!

Fall is here finally. Feels like it's taken forever for it to make it's way to Alabama, but since it's my favorite season to get dressed for I am beyond excited for the cooler weather. Today I am partnering with Walmart Fashion to show you a few of my favorite looks for fall.
Walmart Fashion has a great selection of affordable clothes for every occasion. I picked up a few cozy items to wear around the house, including this sweater, as well as a few items to wear during the upcoming holiday season. To showcase the range of style I put together two looks that I loved from Walmart Fashions latest collections.
I know we aren't getting dressed up a lot right now, but I loved this sweater dress that is exclusively in plus size. It comes in a range of colors and it fit me to perfection. I'm wearing a 2x in the dress . I also paired it with these wide calf over the knee boots. Pulling together the perfect look for dinner, or a small holiday gathering. The dress also works with flats for any outside gatherings as well.
For a more casual look. I paired this cozy sweater with the most comfortable pair of jeans and hiking boots. Normally I don't go for hiking boots, but I picked these up in my local store and I am thinking about buying them in a few more colors. Did I mention that they are cozy, and comfortable. Comfort is absolutely still key in my life.
Have you checked out Walmart Fashion? What fabulous finds did you get?

When Lane Bryant reached out for me to try Cacique's new "So Light" bra, I literally wondered yeah right how light can it possibly be? In my mind there was no way a bra could be light and still provide the proper support that I need, well I was wrong! I went with my typical balconette style that has been updated with as they put it on the Lane Bryant website "light-as-a-feather feel that still delivers the same great lift, support, and shape you love."
For as long as I remember the balconette has been my go to bra style because it works with everything, form V-necks to turtlenecks, so imagine my surprise to find out this update was living up to its so light name! I honestly don't feel like I have a thing on when I wear this. My boobs still sit up and are well supported while encased in this supportive, smoothing light bra. I have since ordered two more after receiving this one.
The So Light Bra is available in a few fits, if the balconette doesn't work for you. Sizes for the balconette range from a 36-50 band with and a C to H cup size.
So has anyone tried to So Light bras yet? How do you feel about a Balconette?
Thank you to Lane Bryant for sponsoring this post! And thank you for reading!

If you follow me on Instagram (which I hope you do), I am
still in denial that Fall is upon us. I’m holding on to Summer this year with
everything I have. But nothing can turn my mood more than fall fashion,
especially new fall fashion! Today I’m excited to partner with Walmart to bring
you their last collection Eloquii Elements, that is full of fabulous fall
pieces.
Let me give you the details, Eloquii Elements is a new
plus-sized fashion line, that Walmart has created in partnership with Eloquii.
The collection is kicking off with 27 pieces in a size range 14-28. The
collection will be available on Walmart.com and at Eloquii. The designs were
created by the Eloquii design team, who are experts in plus size design and
fit with an affordable price point.
I was able to try several pieces from the collection and let
me tell you, it absolutely does not disappoint. I loved everything I tried on.
My fit was true to size. I am between a 20 and 22, so I went with the 22 in the
pieces. I could have sized down in a few
items, including this striped dress. The quality was amazing and I’m excited to
incorporate these affordable pieces into my collection. Did I mention that most
of this collection is under $35? Each
piece is so versatile and works well for a multitude of occasions.
Since I’m working from home currently, I’ve been spending a
lot less on everything, but I have been looking for a few pieces I can add to
my closet that are great for running into the office or so I can be Zoom
meeting ready. This collection from Walmart fits the bill. Ohhhh and one of the best parts was the mask
that match a few of the items. The mask and pant match made me so very happy.
It’s always great that more plus-size options are popping up. It’s even better to find a high quality, low cost option such as this Eloquii Elements collection! What do you think about these looks? Will you check out the collection?
Which look is your favorite look?

Let’s be honest 2020 is weird and challenging to say the
least. How we live, celebrate and work has all changed over the past few months.
It’s only fair to say that how get dressed has changed. A huge piece of me
misses the everyday action of getting dressed, the special occasions putting together
my summer vacay looks. I started to notice that when I did get dressed, I felt better,
more in control, and optimistic.
Today I’ve partnered with Lane Bryant to share one of my
favorite summer looks with you. Since our temperatures have reached a fever
pitch, I still like to keep it simple and cool with my looks. This eyelet offthe shoulder top is perfect for pairing with skirt, jeans and shorts. I paired
it with this light and airy chambray skirt. I absolutely loved these palm printearrings they made me feel like I was on the beach (I wish). A perfect summer
look that made me feel so happy.
I hope everyone is staying safe and sane! Is getting dressed
bringing you any joy?

Summer is upon us and even though I’ve staying in the house for the past few months my summer wardrobe has been on my mind. It gets hotter than the fourth level of hell here, so I typically stick to looks that are easy to wear and cool to put on. Dresses and jumpsuits are my go too during this time period and this jersey jumpsuit from Catharines is as easy as it comes.
Adding heels or sneakers could switch up the vibe of the
jumpsuit making it perfect for a night out for drinks or a fun summer picnic. I
got a 2x, but I probably could have done a 1x due to the stretchy nature of the
jersey material.
Are you getting dressed yet? Are you thinking about what to
wear for summer? Or are you still inside in comfortable clothes?
I hope everyone is doing well.
